Mary is Director of the Corporation for National and Community Service’s Office of Research and Evaluation. In this role, she is responsible for an ambitious research and evaluation agenda capable of comprehensively addressing the agency’s mission and illuminating its most effective policies, programs, and practices. Dr. Hyde is a community psychologist with a 20 year track record of using empirical evidence and scientific inquiry to improve outcomes for programs, organizations, and communities.
Sheila Matano is an Evaluation Specialist at Providence Health Care in Vancouver, BC. Formerly Director of Research and Evaluation at Inciter (Baltimore, MD), Sheila has a decade of experience using mixed methods research methodologies. She specializes in working in complex evaluation environments, and has worked with nonprofit organizations and foundations nationwide to help them improve their program activities and outcomes. She is also a Board member of the Eastern Evaluation Research Society (EERS). Sheila received her MPH from Morgan State University.
Jill is a community psychologist with over 15 years of research experience, specializing in qualitative methodologies. She currently splits her time between research and programmatic roles -- as Senior Research Analyst at Inciter and Director of Make Studio. She has supported dozens of nonprofits and agencies, large and small, with program evaluations and evaluation planning. She also teaches at UMBC and Notre Dame University of MD. Jill received her doctorate in Human Services Psychology from UMBC.
Leslie is Director of Program and Systems Quality at the National Summer Learning Association (NSLA). In this role, she is responsible for translating NSLA’s strategic priorities into services, projects, and partnerships that strengthen summer learning programs and build capacity for providers, intermediaries, and communities. She was previously an evaluator managing the evaluations of several out-of-school time programs including multi-site, longitudinal evaluations. She received her MPH in Health Education from Emory University and a M.Ed. from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
